In a new book which carries this title,
Diana Butler Bass states,
"Congregations that intentionally
engage in Christian practices are
congregations that experience new
vitality." Our neighbor and Newland
Presbyterian Pastor, Terry Alexander,
shared this thought in his December
newsletter. He commends to his
congregation these Christian
practices: reading and reflection on
God's Word, as well as doing justice,
generosity, discernment, shaping
community, hospitality, and leadership.
May we consider and faithfully model
these practices in our lives.
